Doors Open: Cocktail Hour & Silent Auction
Welcome to the night. Doors open and the cocktail hour begins. Enjoy drinks, games, and great company as you mingle with fellow guests and the current University of Washington MBA students who plan and run this entire event. This is your best window to browse the silent auction items, so get in early, place your bids, and check back often before bidding closes.
7:00
Dinner & Live Programming
Find your assigned seat and settle in as dinner is served. The live program kicks off with the C4C presentation, featuring real impact from the organizations you're here to support. Then our professional auctioneer takes the stage for the paddle raise, the highlight of the evening. First-timers: the energy is electric and the auctioneer makes it easy.
~8:30
Dessert & Farewell
Cap the evening with dessert as the night winds down. Won items are collected after the full auction wraps up, so keep your bidder number handy for a smooth checkout. The event concludes around 9:00 pm.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself! You'll pick up your bidder number at check-in. If you pre-registered your payment info ahead of time, check-in will be even faster, though it's not required.
How does the silent auction work?
Silent auction items are displayed during the cocktail hour. You'll use your bidder number to place bids. Browse early, check back often, and don't let your favorites slip away.
What is the paddle raise?
A professional auctioneer calls out giving levels during the live auction. Simply raise your paddle at the level you want to give. The auctioneer guides the whole room through it: no experience needed.
What should I wear?
Dress to impress! The vibe is formal and festive. Think cocktail dress, suit, or gown. Black tie is welcome but not required. When in doubt, go a little fancier.
Is food and drink included?
Yes! Your ticket includes a full dinner and open bar for the evening. Light bites and drinks are also available during the cocktail hour.
What about parking?
Bell Harbor is in the heart of downtown Seattle, so we recommend arriving by rideshare for the easiest experience. If you're driving, a paid lot is conveniently located just across the street: Premium Parking at 2312 1st Ave (near Pike Place Market). Paid street parking is also available throughout the Belltown neighborhood nearby.
